New Hampshire has a problem.
Our state is consistently ranked in the bottom half of the country when it comes to solving youth homelessness. We have to keep fighting.
Waypoint’s Homeless Youth & Young Adult Services are working to raise New Hampshire’s efforts to bring youth experiencing homelessness closer to home. They recently expanded services in NH; the agency has opened a youth resource center in Manchester and Rochester and an overnight emergency shelter in Manchester. The shelter is the first and only one of its kind serving young people experiencing homelessness in NH.
On March 25, I’m sleeping out to support Waypoint’s mission and do my part to bring these youths closer to home. Join me and together we can make some noise to advocate for these youth and amplify their voices until they’re heard, “here I am.”
